I just want to suggest all of you (like me) that thinks evoscan is too much hassle and bulky to use, to check out the Torque app in android market.
I purchased the suggested obd2 bluetooth adapter from PLX and it worked out of the box.
You can output anything in either digital or analogue style gauges and put them however you might want, even on top of eachother.

Stuff it reads from my 2010 Ralliart:

SST Transmission Temperature(!!)
Engine Load
Engine RPM
Fuel Trim bank 1 sensor 1+2 (Long/Short Term)
GPS vs OBD Speed difference
Intake Manifold Pressure
MPG etc
Mass Air Flow Rate
O2 Volts Bank 1 Sensor 1+2
Throttle Position
Timing Advance
Trip Distance
Turbo Boost & Vacuum
Voltage

I am using the HDMI out on my phone to my car satnav for the picture and it's really a great and cheap alternative.

A question about accuracy.
The Trans temp varied between ~85 - ~95 when I checked it, does that sound accurate and what is the normal transmission working temperature?

Not bad, and usefull as a boost gauge and trans temp... thats about all though. Tactrix stand alone logger is a much better alternative for logging purposes and I have to imagine it would be cheaper to just buy a decent boost gauge.

Critical things you don't get:
- Load over 160 (160 was the old limit via obd)
- knock sum

I already have a real boost gauge, but to me, it's mostly a visual element but it's more of a hobbyist tool then a professional tool, I agree, but I'm very much in the learning state and it's easy to use.
Besides, I really don't know how to log any of these values in EvoScan (For my 2010 AUS/EDM RA).

I didn't find that thread before D: thanks.
I should be able to enter the "paramid"'s from the txt files into EvoScan to be able to log that value there aswell then?

Exactly,

Though you may need to add back in 0x23 to the beginning of the paramid. I think i saw a thread with the xml for evoscan though...... I'll post it up if I can find it.

Thanks I will try all of this on ny free day off.
I still think torque looks alot better graphically so I will keep using it but check with evoscan from time to time if I‘m worried about knock.
