I fitted the wheel, spacer and hub today. Went for the Sparco p310 wheel as I like the small flat design & it comes with 2 buttons. I’ll be using one for my horn as the car is still road legal, and the other will be to change the display page on the motec dash once it arrives and I get it installed. The buttons on the steering wheel are a really neat design as well, the wheel has a a recess milled into the back for the wires to sit in and then go through the middle of the spacer so it’s all kept hidden.
The spacer is a 125mm billet aluminium custom job by my friend, he works for the shell v-power v8 supercar race team so has use of all there equipment which has its benefits, it’s a quality bit of engineering.

Started to take bits off the car today ready for the infinite evo sump, tomei scraper kit & cold side intercooler piping to go on tomorrow. I jacked the car up on 4x axle stands and took off:
Front Wheels
Bumper
Undertray
Drained oil
Cold side piping
Turbo drain
Downpipe
Underside strut bars
Starter motor
All that’s left to take off tomorrow is the sump.
I took the new sump out, it’s recommended to clean it thoroughly as it’s got a lubricant on it for transportation to keep it nice and fresh, I filled it up with water and hosed it out just to make sure if there was any debris in there it came out. Tomorrow I’ll spray it all with brake cleaner and then blow dry it.

I've read up great things about that infinite wet sump on these forums. I hope to get it one day, totally worth !

Finished installing the Tomei Scraper kit & the Infinite Evo sump. All in all it was a pretty easy job to do, the instructions that come with the sump kit are very useful and as long as they are followed, the install will go well.
Once installed I put the car back together and then had to set the oil pressure. I logged the oil pressure before I took the old sump off, it was 95psi when the motor was hot and revs being held at 5k. I just did the same with the car on axle stands so then I could get underneath and keep adjusting until it was at the same 95psi.
I’m back on track in a couple of days so at least I’ve got peace of mind that I’m not gonna have any major oil surge.

Motec dash rocked up this week so I got that fitted, my friend made me a mounting bracket using a 3d printer, it came out perfect.
At the moment it’s just a lap timer. I’ve ordered a Link G4X ecu so once that gets here I’ll get it on, get the car tuned and then I will be able to run all of the engine data off of it.

Picked up a used set of Nitron R3 Coilovers, there just under 2 years old. I’m having them sent to Nitron so they can refurbish & service them, also adjust the Valving and change the springs to suit my setup. I’m so excited to get these on and properly set up the car.

Just ordered an Alcon 343mm Club Race kit which should rock up in mid December. I’ll be pairing this with some Project Mu Racing999 pads, so I should have some good braking performance!

Was back on track last week, car performed perfectly which I expected. I’ve got one more track day next week. And then that’ll be it for this year I think.
I’ll be getting the suspension back from Nitron in a few weeks and then the brake kit beginning of December so that will keep me busy.
Few pics from the track
