So many people give me **** because I were all My safety equipment In the TT class. This just goes to show why you should. No one ever plans on wrecking there car at the track but It happens.

Glad he had a cage, so many track cars today are putting out 500+hp, they are fast on the straight, many of them didnt bother to get a good safety equipment when its out on the track. This really shows how important to get some good protection for yourself !

I don't think the wing failed. I think it ripped away from the light weight carbon fiber trunk.

He obviously noticed it if he knew right where to put the caption on the video for where it flew off. Either that or one of his team mates radio'd it to him or something.

Even without seeing it. At the speed he was going in a gutted car... You'd be able to tell. What surprises me is that he didn't compensate and go slower... Guess that's the bane of driving an AWD race car.

The video clearly says "Mirror: Wing comes off"

With how the crash played out... It was definitely all a lack of downforce.

Great video for all the wingless guys who always argue with me.

If you can do it, that's the way to do it. The wingless look grew on me. But the usefulness of the wing (and the fact that I like the looks with it on better) over power it. But if you can swap that easily

Happy that the driver was safe. That was random for the wing to come off like that.

Good catch, that's definately where the CF trunk ripped apart where the wing was mounted.

CF guys, make sure you spread the load using backing plates or whatever...

LoL, boost was being sarcastic there guy. But anyway, he didn't realize it flew off, if he did he WOULD have slowed down going into the S, it's not his first day at a track, let alone that track. But on that particular part of the track, your not looking in your mirror going 140, your focused on your line, your hands, your right foot etc etc etc, if you are there's obviously a looming shadow of a radical like car up your ****. When we review race video, that's where we go "oh damn, that's where I made that mistake" which is where he determined where it had to have come off, cause we certainly don't see it in the video clearly, and if we can't here it back where the camera is, he sure as hell didn't with the helmet on.
