Its funny how so many shops are giving up on the genesis (really major lack of aftermarket support tuning wise) . At least you guys kept it and put something better in it. That was a good solution. What ever happened to the haltech you guys had for it?

Genesis is the biggest disappointment in years, that's why. I remember being so hyped about it, and reading the buschur / AMS threads daily.. and with each new part that came out, the cars were making 0 power. Blamed it on this and that, and ultimately, here we are what, a year later? The cars still don't make any power. Total fail.


That being said, mock up a kit for this and I will go buy a genesis tomorrow. No lie. Cars are gorgeous, they just don't do what they are supposed to.

I dont know why the heck you guys would be so excited about a Korean car. Has anyone ever even herd of a korean race team or a road track over there. The car is garbage, I can see you guys are gunna be doing nice work puttin this together, I just can not see why you would swap one of the greatest motors of all time into a garbage can.

hahahah.. Just stumbled upon this thread. Nice Job Mike! It's prob cheaper then full bolt ons for the car and much more reliable. Did something happen to the stock motor?

What type of transmission are you going to use? We just did a 2JZGTE swap into our NA Supra with a 4L80E, super fun car.
