I thought there was issues running the 2.2 with mivec head.

what issues would that be cuz there are plenty 2.2 strokers and never heard of anyone complain on the magnus 2.2 or cosworth 2.2 kits?

Nice....definately going the "scenic route" on your build hehe. I remember doing a sr20det extraction and a b18c5 swap (no motor work) in a buddies 7' x 30' garage in the condos that he lived in...brings back memories. Props to you !
