lol! yeah putting that hood there cant be good for the paint, but you have a much greater problem to worry about. Good luck with the build man!

^^ its pretty tempting.. i always tell myself i wont beat on my car today but it never works i'll even tell my girlfriend. stopp me if i hit boost. its just too hard.. how do u drive an evo slow?? i find it impossible

street wear and tear lol never got a chance to track it unfortunatly and all my buddies went to island dragway last weekend i hadda ride in someone elses car ;(

That sucks man.

And yes it really is hard to drive an Evo tamely. Its too much fun and effortless lol.

I would send in the transmission too if I were you....I did and there was some damage to the input and output shafts.

I took my t-case apart all the way when I blew mine....here is the carnage...so you can have an idea what yours looks like inside.

is there anyway to tell if there is damage done to the input and output shafts on the tranny without taking it apart?

I have to disagree. There's a big difference between driving hard and abusing the machine to the point of blowing the front diff. The OP may want to edit his FS ad.
