need little help with my evo ix

Hi guys. I need some help from you. The thing is I have a Evo IX 2006 USDM model, that is making a strange "bonk" sound from the chassis. The sound is coming from the front end of the car and the passenger side. The "bonk" is very frequent on low speed, maybe 1-2sec between but the sound reduces with increased speed.
I've checked the gearbox which seems to be ok so it not coming from there. Have you got any suggestions on what this could be?? The car is not acting strange at all when I drive it only this sound I'm worried about.

lol wtf is a "bonk" haha. Can you compare this "bonk" to another noise?

Are you sure it's not a clicking sound? Check underneath the car and see if a CV axle boot is ripped.

have you done any suspension work/mods in that area of the car lately?

Is it a mechanical sound or does it sound like it might be coming from your suspension?
