I bet if all the evo owner sell their evo for a far higher price the value of our evo will always be high like Supra. The reason why Supra dont go fo cheap these days is because no one sell Supra for cheap but if someone ever found one for cheap they bought it and resell for more profit.

This is my opinion from building and destroying way too many Honda engines over the past 10 years...don't even bother buying a Type-R. Unless you're spending $20k for some ultra-rare 100% original rhd jdm type-r, it's not worth it. The average R has been bought and beaten on, and even with sinking many thousands of dollars into the b18c or c5, they just can't take the abuse. If you stick with an all-motor build, expect no more than 250whp with between $4-5k into the motor. If you go the boosted route, then figure on resleeving with a solid deck type sleeve package, all the internal goodies, a monster turbo and cams...in short, a little bit above what the all-motor build would cost you and you lose a daily driven status (ever try driving a 400whp honda on the street? It's pretty scary...). Even then like mentioned, it's the #1 stolen car in America. If you have any more questions regarding Honda's, send me a pm...I can answer ANY question you have about them.
In short, that's why I bought an Evo

I used to have a Type R and its a fast car if you do some work to it....but it will cost you alot more to make it fast. With a Evo it will cost you less. I sold mine for 18k and it was built. 1.9Liter stroker and head built. It had only 39k when I sold it. But if you not really into going that fast then I say go with the ITR but if you wanna go fast then go with the Evo. I have a Evo 8 now and I love every second of it. You can't go wrong with either. But ITR need to be garage kept b/c alot of people love to steal those cars.
