Brake Pad HELP ASAP PLEASE
Hello,
I just bought some autozone brake pads to replace my OEM Brembo pads. However I noticed these autozone ones aren't as big nor do they have the "holes" at the top for the pins to slide through. Should they have those holes at the top of the pads or can I install these just fine. I told the guy it was an evolution but he could have screwed up. I need help ASAP as I need to get this done today. Thanks!

I am also looking at getting some new Pads for my car..
Simply because the current pads on the car now squeak's soooo bad.
They have a lot of meat left to them but i believe they might be to aggressive (hard). Is this possible?
Should i just take the pad off and maybe put some "Stop squeak" Stuff on the back of the pad?
I was going to buy some Raybestos pads this week.
They are Life time warranty. So once they wear out. You get another set for free.
I have these Ravbestos pads on my 240 and i love them. They are the highest OEM Quality pads i have seen. And are pretty expensive as well.
But i thought about getting OEM Brembo or Hawks for the evo.
Still not sure.

Autozone pads are not bad at all. Get teh duralast gold pads and keep the receipt, drive the car as hard as you feel they ahve a lifetime warranty. You probably talked to an idiot there that gave you teh wrong pads.

raybestos rear pads from kragen, $30 bucks. i yank the e-brake all the time and still no squeak. love them cheap pads. racing pads are for the track. too difficult to live with in normal circumstances. good luck. oh, and yes, wrong pads.

Ive been using autozone golds for over a year, they've worked plenty fine for DD. and like everyone else has said, you got the wrong pads. when you get them swapped out, at least buy the golds
