You'd be better finding an old 3kgt that was salvaged or maybe had a blown engine, then dropping your pals engine right in

i love the 4g63, but the 2.0 or at the max a 2.3 or 2.4 is still small. Im comparing it to the 3.6 twin turbo that i could have

the more i think about it, the harder it gets. It would be cheaper if i just picked up a salvaged or old 3000 gt and then did it

is it a stroker motor? stock they are 3.0l. if its a stroker, thats gonna be damn nice, but i would definatly not put it in your 9 MR.
Buy a 1g VR4 and stick that motor in it, it'll probably be cheaper and then you have two nice cars

^ ya thats the option i am thinking about. Its the only cost effective way

and yes its a stroker motor. The guy says he was planning on putting 2 gt40 turbos on it. This guy has no money to pay for the motor. The motor is still sitting at the shop that built it in cali.

People have done 3kgt swaps into Mirages, with have the same, or atleast VERY VERY similar mounting points as an Evo. Plus if that huge motor can fit into a Mirage, I'm sure it'll fit into an Evo, with some work.

BUT......... this is a terrible and pointless swap to do, because for the money you'll probably spend and not only money but frustration you'll go through, you could have a insanely built 4g63 for a fraction of the cost, as well as a no headache.
