Dogboxracing Evo showdown with vid
Big thanks go out to Marco and TTR for putting together the best show in town. Lots of heavy iron at this show.
The track temps were threw the roof but it didn’t stop the racing. Big props to all that had to sit in a car in this kind of sun and heat. Shows what dedication and love all have for this thing we do.
Our day started of a bit ruff. 1st shot our two step was at 3k lol. We rolled out and hit the gas 30psi netted 159mph. Great car went str8 all looked good. Turned here up to 34psi car was all over the place then no 4th gear $^#$. Easy fix I ripped the shifter out of the grommets. 36 psi car is all over the place again and goes 9.1 at 164. After talking to others all agree the track was very pore and E-town would not spray it down. The rail cars sat it out at this point as the track was that bad. With lots more power on tap we mad the decision to leave it turned down as the track would not hold. We lost with a pore reaction time against Kiggly. It was nice to get the cash even for 3rd place.
All in all best Dsm/Evo event I ever attended.

Congrats to Alex and Dogbox crew on Personal best ET and MPH!!! You have a great team and support!
The track sucked it was not prepped and 100deg+ weather didn't help either. As seen in the video still spinning at a 1000' mark!
Congrats again!

Woahhhh ok I think Dogbox have my new fav drag evo after watching those passes. Was that sideways in 3rd gear?
How did they manage to not have fresh track bite down for this event?

Alex it was a pleasure to finally meet you. You guys made us proud. Your car is Bluetiful
Glad to see the new Sequential Ignition is doing it's job. The car was very consistent and sounded clean.
There is no doubt if track prep were a bit better it would have gone into the 8's even with the track temps the way they were. It was HOTTTT, and humid.
Congrats on your 3rd place.

Something tells me that this car is going to be one to watch.... Spinning tires and going all over the place running low 9's consistantly over 160 is some crazy $h*t...
Congrats Alex on the progress! The 8's are waiting for you!!!!!

I have no idea why the track prep was so terrible... really sucks. But it was still awesome to see some of the big guns and I knew Alex would surprise a few people with his car

at full boost + plus traction that should be a low 8 sec car..Im sure i wasnt the only person dogbox won over as a new potential customer at the shootout. Very impressive guys. That is one of, if not, the cleanest drag cars ever built. It's also very consistent and the driver, obviously, can drive the crap out of that car.
